Genesis Arizmendi, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, earned her Ph.D. in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at the University of Arizona in 2019. Arizmendi has worked as a certified and licensed speech-language pathologist in public schools and in outpatient rehabilitation settings, specializing with pediatric Spanish-English speaking populations. Her research and clinical interests are focused on the improvement of clinical practices and educational decision-making for culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
Arizmendi also is a recipient of the Distinguished Early Career Professional Certificate given by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
