Junior in Psychology
I’m a junior Psychology major pursuing a creative writing certificate in poetry. On campus, I've been involved in Women In Psychology, recently inducted into Psi Chi (the honors society in psychology), a research assistant in the Empower lab and will soon start in the TIES lab. I'm interested in becoming a therapist. So, I've been exploring both master's and doctoral programs for a curriculum that addresses inequity and multiculturalism in mental health services. I intend to continue being a mental health advocate because I know that our society still has various stigmas against mental disorders and what mental health looks like.
