
Senior in Human Ecology, Health and Society, Race Indigeneity and Migration
Matthew Nguyen is a triple major in Human Ecology, Health & Society, and Race, Indigeneity, & Migration with minors and certificates in Health Communications, Asian American Studies, BDP in Nonprofits and Social Entrepreneurships, and Food & Society. On campus, Matthew is involved in and has served on leadership for Texas Blazers, FIKA ATX, and the Texas Visual Arts Collective. His research experience includes the Freshman Research Initiative’s Virtual Cures, Department of Nutritional Sciences’ EdEN Lab, and the School of Nursing’s Osier Lab. Matthew is interested in the intersection of Race, Health Equity, Communications, and Administration and Policy. Matthew is beginning his career in Healthcare Finance and Operations with goals to pursue his masters in Health Communications and eventually a PhD, potentially, in Health Services Research to enact administrative change towards health equity.
