Sophomore in Health and Society

Neel is a sophomore majoring in Health and Society at the University of Texas at Austin with a strong background in the natural sciences. He conducts PFAS research in the Sessler Group and is passionate about understanding the intersection of social epidemiology and waterborne infectious diseases. Through the TexCEP Undergraduate Scholars Program, he has gained valuable insights into addressing health and education inequities and developing community-driven solutions to promote health equity. Neel plans to pursue a career in epidemiology, using research and policy to advance health equity and improve outcomes for vulnerable communities.
