Tres earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Health Behavior and Health Education with a certificate in Women’s and Gender Studies from The University of Texas at Austin. Using mixed methods, Tres focuses on tobacco use disparities among sexual and gender minority populations. Tres was trained in tobacco regulatory science with the Texas TCORS and focuses on new and emerging tobacco products as well as polytobacco behaviors.
